One of our former neighbours has just died at 54, massive blood clots, triple jabbed. Left behind a wife and young family. As you know Romy, 5 of my family have various injuries from my brother who had to have heart surgery to my hubs whose problems still have not been fully resolved. The difficulty for the government is, the rollout has gone too far. There are people out there who are on jab 5 or even 6.....who is prepared to tell those people sorry, the stuff we gave you is killing you? How do you live with that knowledge as the person who had 5 shots? As I see it, the way out (which isn't right ) is to plead poverty - jabs too costly and no longer necessary weaker variant blah blah and quietly halt the programme. But that doesn't help those already damaged, and more must be done on that score.

It’s just appalling what has happened to people Puds. I’m so very sorry about your family. Does your husband have an understanding GP? It boils my blood that if you claim ‘Long Covid’ you are instantly referred to a team of specialists. Meanwhile the gaslighting of vaccine victims is still widespread.

I agree that the Government is likely to go for a ‘let it fizzle out’ approach. But as you say that doesn’t help those damaged. We need an acknowledgment of the error made in rolling this out to the wider non vulnerable population and the scale of suffering caused. Because I really do fear that if another ‘health crisis’ emerges they’ll force another ‘miracle cure’ on us!

Thanks for supporting my writing! x

You're very welcome. He's seen 3 of the 14 docs at our practice, 2 of whom were supportive but unfortunately the national death service just isn't interested in getting to the bottom of his issues. So almost 2 years on from his only dose of AZ, he's no further forward but actually he considers himself very fortunate. The government will take the easiest way out, but the fact remains it should never have been given to anyone under 70 in fact I'd go so far as to say, the jabs were unnecessary for everyone. Nobody should have been made to feel like their lives were at risk.

Yes I also wonder if the jabs have actually done anyone any good at all! The NHS is absolutely dire. I’m hitting brick walls all the time with my health problems. Also having to raid my savings to get an operation done privately. It would take politicians with real courage and vision to tear it all up and start again.

Really hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas despite everything x

Thank you so much James! 🙏🏽

Andrew was very brave but you've taken it that next step. Whether to sigh with relief or cry? Not sure yet.

It’s a whole mix of emotions James! Relief is there in the sense of people finally waking up and my health problems being validated. There’s also confusion and anger though. I was coerced into getting all of my vaccines. They were the only way for me to see my elderly Grandmother before she died. It’s hard to process.

Thanks for reading my piece!
